Song of the day: No one cares, what you do, what you say or what you wear

Hello kids,

So since I got such positive feedback from Goldfish. Here is one more – one of my favourites.
Soundtracks and Comebacks.

I’m sure you have jammed to this before – and never knew it was South African.
So jam jam jam away some more to the jazzy afro sound.

Hello kids,

So as I mentioned yesterday tonight will be the first night of Caribana Festival.
And not only is Gossip playing (yesterday’s SOTD) but there will also be the very cool French electro-rock band Pony Pony Run Run.

This band from Nantes are a rather big deal in France (and Belgium) but also come often to Geneva so if you enjoy them have a look out for them.

Here is their famous Hey You.

Love the video

And because I love Crystal Fighters I will also give this remix they did jam

If you enjoy them there are still some tickets available – otherwise if you just go on the day there are always people selling tickets outside (normally cheaper but I don’t promise anything).

Hello kids,

So as  people say you can’t get enough of a good thing. Another Miike Snow today. It’s the only thing I am listening to at the moment.

Bavarian #1 (Say you will)

I like the marching drums.

Song of the day

Today I introduce you to a mysterious band called Wu Lyf. Not much is known about them as they like stick to the music and stay away from the press. No secrets about the fact that I admire them for that. And this in itself became quite a successful marketing campaign as the media lapped up this idea of closeness vs artists that invite you into every aspect of their life.  They were seen as the new cult band.

But what we do know is that they come from Manchester – a very important city for music indeed.

Here is We Bros:

As always jam jam jam
