Dear all,

I found this lovely artist by luck last week and I am rather amazed of how she hid from me.
One watch of this video and  I really was musically ear blown away.
To be fair, she hasn’t been around for that long – she brought an EP Theater Island back in 2010.
And last year a lovely full length album We Sink.

And if you recognize some of the sound she is a member of Seabear who is now also exploring a solo career.

There is no doubt about it she is something special. And what with being Icelandic she does share the sweet and dreamy-strange of Sigur Ros.

So before I waste any more of your time. Here is the incredibly indie and mesmerizing Sóley.

Thank you so much for all you rainproof fans who came and supported us last night.
We had lots of fun – and after the howls for one more song at 1h30 – we hope you did to.

Hope you had or are having happy chocolate munching.

It’s sunny and bright and so we need some similar mooded music. So funnily after all this oooh and aaah about The Juveniles, and many recommendations from friends – I realized I still haven’t dedicated a SOTD to them!

Dear Song of the dayers,

Yesterday I went to yet another wonderful concert at Les Docks: M83. This French electro band is all type of wonderful – concert review to come very shortly with all the details.

So I spent the weekend in Paris (coughing and sneezing but still) driven by one fabulous reason: to see JUSTICE live at OLYMPIA. And it really was worth the trip (and exorbitant price ticket). Concert review to follow soon.
